Its an really short release even by EP standards, yet it shows you everything you need to know about Suffocation.

Caught my interest as it included Sean Reinert on drums and Sean Malone on the bass (and Chapman Stick) of Cynic fame. Even though this album is the only time they show up on the lineup for the band. The rest of their releases are still pretty good, but I digress. This could be considered a missing link between 'Focus' and 'Traced in Air' with a couple of caveats.

2026/3/14 UPDATE - Doesn't really much of an impact to me nowadays. Though the compositions are still strong for their standards. It should be able hold up pretty well.
I think it's just safe to say this is an outstanding album from such a stellar band, that manages to be perfect in almost every way possible.

I'll try to be fair here, its basically 4 additional tracks to a 30 track album that i'll probably never fully review in good conscience. That said I thought these were pretty cool.
