A few highlights and good ideas but the whole things felt painfully uninteresting for peggy's standards and all the songs started to blend together especially with this fuckass triplet flow he barely changes.
Peggy is still insanely talented so I enjoyed it for the most part but I can't help feeling disappointed considering how high quality and creative all of his previous projects have been.
This shit is sooooo boringggg.
The production sounds interesting every now and then so for the first 5-10 seconds of a song it sounds decent but it goes nowhere most of the time. This wouldn't matter anyway because this motherfucker comes on every song with the SAME lazy ass flow that gets stale immediately. I'm a bit disappointed in this considering how good alot of his singles have been last year but overall its still solid.
Blow The Speaker is a really good opener, but in the middle of the ep the songs just do nothing for me. The production on songs like Young Millionaire and Dumb feel awkward and the rapping isn't catchy or interesting enough to do them any justice. I always thought that the first half of this album was ridiculously better than the second half, and while that's still sort of true, I'm glad I relistened because its grown on me quite a bit.
The Old Black Hen (which used to be my least favourite on here) and John Henry Split my Heart in particular have REALLYY grown on me. Peoria Lunch Box Blues still isn't really my thing and Hold on Magnolia unfortunately doesn't do anything for me - which is annoying ... read more
