Never did I once think that Drake was capable of putting out a feature verse so utterly shit to where it ruined his career. That takes a lot of talent to do. But regardless of whether or not I thought Drake could actually do it,this feature marks the end of his career as he embarrassed himself to a point of no return. I don’t even know how he’s gonna come back from this. I’m just gonna say that it’s over and we can forget that this ever happened.
It’s still a good diss track but after what happened with meet the grahams, this aged a little poorly as Kendrick just revealed to us that Drake lies in his disses. So maybe all of this was fabricated so that he could push out a response.
This song is absolutely brutal. Every angle that Kendrick takes at his family members and even himself will leave lasting marks on Drake’s reputation and how people will view him in the public eye from this point onwards.
There are some solid shots towards Drake here, don’t get me wrong, but the part of the track where he calls Drake a white boy just makes it seem like he’s running out of things to say about him so he cooked up an insult to make up for that.
Some solid shots at Chris Brown here but Takeoff’s use in this song doesn’t really make that much sense to me. Why are you dragging him into this feud when he’s already dead
WE STILL DON’T TRUST YOU takes a more slow approach in sound that is derived from a bunch of 80’s synth pop tracks as well as smooth R&B cuts in which some of them feature seasoned R&B veterans Ty Dolla $ign and Chris Brown on them to further assist Future in delivering that sound he was intending to. This follow up album is not nearly as consistent as the first one with a few duds in the tracklist on the way. Future is also not the best singer considerably so he comes ... read more
WE DON’T TRUST YOU calls Metro’s artistry with Future into question as they make a set of 17 tracks in very diverse styles than each other as well as assembling the project’s unique cast of features, ranging from Playboi Carti all the way to Rick Ross. Kendrick Lamar also shows up on this record with a standout feature verse where he talks down on this Big 3 that Drake and J. Cole claimed they were a part of along with Kendrick in which he says that there isn’t even a Big ... read more
NOT ALL HEROES WEAR CAPES is a good showcase of Metro’s production skills as well as assembling guests like Travis Scott,Kodak Black,21 Savage and Gunna. The beats are very well done, especially on Space Cadet where he achieves the outer space sound and on Don’t Come Out The House where his production sounds the most menacing which fits for 21 Savage.
The cover is also cool and is replicated in the Superhero music video nearly 5 years after the album’s initial release. Very ... read more
