i initially gave this a 6/10, but honestly the album's grown on me a lot. i think the hate for this album and Sabrina Carpenter in general is so forced. i'm sure some of it stems from the fact that some of these songs are just inescapable and are everywhere, but i digress.
these are just some solid pop songs. there's a couple of songs that are just ok, but a majority of the songs here are great. and damn, the hits off of this truly hit. the deluxe tracks are a fine addition, ... read more
all controversy and drama aside, i think this is a pretty solid entry for a new chapter for Linkin Park. there is absolutely no replacing Chester Bennington and i don't think that Emily Armstrong is ever going to fill those shoes, but as they start From Zero *ba dum tiss* on a new beginning for the band, i can see Armstrong coming into her own sound in the band.
this album doesn't do anything too crazy and i think they played it a little safe, but a most of these songs are pretty ... read more
Gibbs never disappoints. an all around solid album with no skips that's a joy to listen to all the way through.
the beat carries it so hard tbh
not what i was expecting from JOBA, but i was pleasantly surprised. there's a couple of tracks that i'm not crazy about but overall this is a very interesting project from the former BROCKHAMPTON member. maybe it'll grow on me over repeat listens.
as someone who still actively listens to early 2010's dubstep/brostep/etc and enjoys it, this album is a lot of fun if you like that sound. it's a fun listen and just about every track is a bop and or banger.
really fun and bubbly electro pop. there's a decent amount of variety in the tracklist and they're all bops. this would have slipped past my radar if Spotify didn't give me a notification about this because of the death's dynamic shroud feature on the closing track
it's decent, good music to have in the background. real chill and atmospheric, a little ambient at times too.
ever since i heard Red Wine Supernova, she had me hooked. every time one of her songs popped up on one of my Spotify playlists i kept finding myself going "damn, she's pretty good". it's honestly no surprise that she's blown up as big as she has. almost every song on here is an absolute earworm and a blast to sing along to. while there's a couple songs that are just ok, i think this is a modern pop classic.
it's nice to have on in the background while you just vibe out to it.
while the production has its moments and the album flows together decently, everything else just isn't for me. the blown out beats and poor mixes get old after awhile.
i've never been the hugest fan of Logic, but this an fantastic album. usually when i see an album is 1hr+ long i prepare myself for a slog of meh songs to pad out streaming numbers. however each track here earns its spot in the track list, even the skits. i know skits on albums tend to be love it or hate it kind of thing, but i found them endearing and they they lead nicely into the following songs themes. anyway haha rating it 85 because funny. good album
i'm not a fan of pop country to begin with, but it's inoffensive for the most part. it's a mixed bag which is to be expected with such a bloated tracklist. its essentially a collab album, but i really would have liked to see Post doing solo tracks.
Post was already experimenting with some singer/songwriter elements on his last album "Austin" which i think would have led him down a more folksy/red dirt/contemporary country sound instead of the very clean and polished ... read more
thought it was pretty good on especially the instrumental side. however on the vocal side, it was too screechy and unintelligible for the most part (at least for my tastes). still pretty solid, i liked it.
at first i was kinda disappointed at this one because of the fact that seemingly all the best songs were released as singles. but after a couple more listens, a lot of the tracks i didn't care for grew on me a lot. i've switched up, this album is actually pretty good.
the more i listen to this album, the more i love it. the songs are fun and emotional and i just can't get enough of it. this entire album is probably gonna end up being my most listened to album by the end of the year. thank you mr robinson.
