The Home Team - The Crucible of Life

The Home Team's album Slow Bloom is probably one of my favorite albums of all time. That being said, I was really looking forward to seeing how they followed it up. They really knocked it out of the park. It's a banger

Jesse Welles - Hells Welles

really good and politically poignant. the themes and topics are a mirror towards the current issues we're dealing with in this great ol USA. there's a couple of songs that are just alright, but overall this is a fantastic album. from the excellent guitar playing, Welles' distinct raspy voice, and the great writing, i definitely recommend checking this one out.

Charli xcx - BRAT

absolutely slaps front to back.

Kill Bill & Rav - KEEP THE CHANGE!

really disappointed with this one. i love their work together and their solo works, but this one just does not live up to the quality of their previous works. the main gripe for me is the production. it feels very one note and mixed so poorly that the vocals are often completely drowned out. the Miku beat on the end track had a lot of potential but it's so blown out that whatever they're rapping over it is unintelligible.

Joey Valence & Brae - NO HANDS

honestly this duo has yet to miss. they took what was working on their last project and doubled down. lots of interesting and oddball production and the nerdy bars make this album so much fun to listen to. plenty of bangers on here.

Joey Valence & Brae - PUNK TACTICS

not a single boring track on here. this album is a lot of fun to listen to. the bars are nerdy and corny in the best way. they take a lot of influences and wear them on their sleeves while putting their own unique style on it.

Bad Omens - CONCRETE JUNGLE [THE OST]

i think it's pretty solid. it plays heavily with electronic sounds leading to some Blade Runner/Cyberpunk soundscapes.

Bladee - Cold Visions

production is doing a lot of the heavy lifting here, but even it gets stale about halfway through this 30 track project. it honestly just kinda felt like i was listening to one continuous song that just didn't end. i can see how some may like this sound, but honestly not for me.

god spoke to me through this album ‼
on a scale of BOOM or DOOM, i'm gonna give it a BOOM‼‼‼

Neck Deep - Neck Deep

It's a decent album, but there isn't really anything here I would want to come back to outside of the first track "Dumbstruck Dumbf**k".

Queens of the Stone Age - Songs for the Deaf

it's hard to put into words why i enjoy this album so much. every once in awhile i get a craving to listen to this album and it's always a blast. it's so incredibly solid. every track after the intro goes to 10 and pretty much stays there for it's entire runtime. it's so much fun to listen to. it's definitely one of those albums that everyone should give a chance.

Various Artists - Guilty Gear -Strive- Digital Soundtrack

the best album that comes with a fighting game. bangers on top of bangers. sure the lyrics don't make a lot of sense sometimes, but that doesn't really matter when you're stomping somebody into street pizza.

The Home Team - Slow Bloom

after one listen, this quickly became an album that i had on repeat. every song is so damned catchy, there isn't a single bad song here. the band themselves like to brand their music as "heavy pop" rather than pop-punk and i think that's pretty fitting. while it does have some pop-punk elements to it, if you put this album next to any pop-punk album it is so sonically different from your average pop-punk album. this album is always a go-to recommendation for anyone and i've not had a ... read more
