my first 1975 album and boy oh boy did they impress me !! this was such a fun listen. every song was its own journey but they all contributed to the overall musical palette that this album carved out. favorite songs are sincerity is scary, how to draw / petrichor, and TOOTIMETOOTIMETOOTIME. i don't really have a least favorite song on this either. overall, this was an amazing, nostalgia-inducing album and there are songs here that will stay with me forever :)
i already loved empathogen upon its initial release.. but these 3 tracks??? holy. shit. layers is my favorite by a MILE.. it might actually surpass the fear is not real & between i and she as my favorite track on the entire album. wanted is an amazing rollercoaster ride and the breakdown during the chorus actually sends me to another dimension. she gets so intimate on each and every song and to you is the perfect closer to this emotional whirlwind of an album. it's soothing yet ... read more
