Album 25 of my Album a Day challenge:
This album is great. Jazzy beats have a really special place in my heart and so this album was the best I've seen it for a while. It's the pinnacle of upbeat music with darker messages.
Album 24 of my Album a Day challenge:
The combination of Brian Eno, the pioneer of ambient music, and David Byrne, one of the best to ever use percussion instruments in his work, creates an overwhelming album of instrumentals, with some additional recordings from the radio or churches. It may not be easy listening, but it's certainly fun to listen to!
Album 23 of my Album a Day challenge:
I remember distinctly on New Years Eve 2015 watching on the BBC a show about Bowie, and watching the uncomfortable video for Lazarus. Even though I was only 8, I could tell something was off in what Bowie was doing. This didn't seem like the same man who had written Starman.

Album 22 of my Album a Day challenge:
I'm going into this review saying I don't enjoy vocals like this. Not with anything against the genre, but for me it often takes away from the music. However, as this album went on I was able to look past that, and some cases the percussive vocal performance aided the songs. Will I listen again? Probably not. Was it a worthwhile experience? Album 21 of my Album a Day challenge:
I came into this knowing Monday Morning 5:19, and loving it. The rest of the album was just as enjoyable, however less unique in sound as Monday Morning. Songs like Dream Another Dream and Summer's Over feel like a late 90s attempt at a Beatles song (albeit with more interesting lyrics). Overall, good although somewhat unoriginal in places
