It's happy! It's fun! It's comforting! It feels like a summer day when the sun's out and people are having a party on the street. Absolutely not perfect and a lot of it is not technically "good" but it instantly lifts my mood.

Ok I hadn't heard Parquet Courts before and I loved this, although I may be biased because a lot of the music seems to be based on older music I already like. This is a really fun sound: kinda post-punk/funk/dub and cheerful! It has good beats, a saxophone, and occasional weird female vocals! Reminds me of ESG a little. I enjoyed it quite a bit, although I think it's probably best for listening to while you do something else. Great music to clean the house to.
I was disappointed by this album so I made an account to get some thoughts out. Maybe I should have guessed this might not be my type of humor based on the album title and group name, but I was excited because from the reviews it looked like highly rated, dancy, and funny post-punk and I love dancy post-punk!
