Nighttrain, 1 million bottlebags, can't truss it and a few others are really great tracks, the rest however, not so much.
Local 149 is crazy and that makes it good
Solid, simple and very funky. Here Comes the Meter Man is my favourite, with light organs and hard, tight drums and a groovy bassline. The drums throughout this album never disappoint.
Really good production with some pretty nice flows and lyrics. This album is definitely one of the better Netherlands-rap albums I've come across. Real Smooth and Feel Alright are the standout tracks, with some great samples. Highly recommend.
Classic, hardcore, gangster hip-hop with some real quality, it's a shame these were never on a label. Also has incredible 808s. Recs: Make Dat Move, Playing For Keeps, Cut Out The Wack Shit.
Nice hardcore beats with some pretty good flows and lyrics. Pure old school hiphop.
Enjoyable songs such as the title track, Come, Get It On (Original) and Get It On (Remix). This album focusing on sexual themes brings down the ratings a bit, but the Chubb Rock features are great.
Pretty decent but the production is pretty poor and simple on most tracks.
Some of the remixes aren't bad at all, for example the Watch Me Now remix.
I preferred this one out of all the unreleased albums, still some pretty poor quality but some really nice tracks on here. Message In The Music is way better than Message From The Boss, and Delta Force is also a great track. On Rhythm X, it sounds like Kool Keith's vocals have been mixed terribly and crackles all the way through because of how loud it is. Other good tracks worth listening to are People Can Talk, Fuck You and You Ain't Shit.
Most tracks have absolutely horrendous quality and some are only coming out in one ear channel. However, there are some decent ones, such as Moe Love Is on the Mix and Because You Are So Funny
First three tracks are very good, along with express yourself and quiet on tha set. These songs are the high points of the album and are definitely worth listening to if you haven't already. However, clearly NWA don't know how to make a full album, because the rest of the tracks range from mediocre to absolutely terrible. This album as a whole had a lot of potential but just was never used. The overuse of crappy drum machines just make most of the tracks so unoriginal and boring.
Very well produced with clever lyrics and storytelling. If you like the sound of the bomb squad, you'll like this
I really like the hardcore beats combined with the carnival-esque sound effects and hooks. Best songs: Got Kinda Hi, Burn The Flag, Do The Dugs Dig, R U Down With Da Goats, Typical American
Best tracks: One Two One Two, Two Brothers With Checks, Adventures Of Hermans Lust
Brilliant production Gurus lyrics are a step up from the previous album. There is a lot of variety in the beats which makes this very enjoyable however there are some tracks that are monotonous at times.
Not great. Some of the songs sound very similar and the lyrics aren't up to par in some songs. Best song: Real Muthaphuckkin G's
