It’s not fair to be this good at making music. Please don’t turn into a cornball Mr. Staples.
This album kinda blew me out of the water. I’m always looking for more underground music. This had amazing production, lyrics, Melodies, hooks. It’s just an amazing album, not exactly new. Just so well done,
Honestly blew me away. Need more Aussie, dystopian, political bangers
Kenny Mason is consistently one of the most versatile and talented artists of this generation. Yet each project I feel like there is something missing. I think he needs to pick a lane or a focus and stop putting his hand in so many bags. I appreciate how versatile this record is, it’s just has no consistency to me.
I think that ZEP feels super unique and fresh. This isn’t the strongest project lyrically but the production is amazing. I look forward to whatever he has next.
This album has done nothing but grown on me. Very personal album to me. We miss you king.
Listened to this after really liking the Danny brown single. Was super surprised I love the blend of hip hop and r&b. Super solid and versatile.
It’s not terrible. I was really looking forward to this album. I loved his ep and it had everything I wanted from yeat. He needs to leave the old yeat in the past and embrace this more expiremental and unique side. Songs like my time, dangerous house and back home are amazing and almost don’t even feel right to for this album. If it was trimmed and taken in another direction it could have been his best. We can only hope he takes a step forward after this step back.
I really enjoyed this, I liked RAYEs last project a lot but felt she had to really find her lane and what she wanted with her career after getting out of that terrible label deal. She did exactly that, she sounds so fresh and unique. Just amazing lyrics, production, and singing, what more could you want?
This is my first Slayyyter album and lord was I impressed. I don’t really know what to say it’s just great. Everything sounds so smooth but harsh in the best ways.
Not much to say, I can’t understand most the words but shit goes hard either way.
I can’t seem to wrap my head around how this man consistently makes such beautiful music. Amazing album that really resonated with me thematically and just insane production and singing.
I fail to see why people are so harsh to jcole. Maybe he is not the big 3 but you’d think this guy raps like someone’s uncle off 6 Modelo’s at the cookout. Not every song hits but the theme, production, singing, rapping, lyrics, all hold up to make an amazing piece of work. It’s not perfect but it’s a great album to end on.
Some of the best pop I’ve heard in a while. Amazing production and a story/theme I really connected with.
