You can hear the “if this doesnt work it’s back to 9-5” love the hunger.
My mom use to play this album when I was a kid and I can’t thank her enough for putting me on to peak.
This was my introduction to not only Danny brown but experimental hiphop overall and damn. The voice took a bit to get into but it’s insane that you can make music that feels like thoughts in someone’s head. I felt like I was in Danny’s head with every song.
This is my first Jean album and holy shit, I can’t wait to see what he puts out next. EDIT: after more time with this album and the deluxe I upgraded to a 90 from 80. This is the most insanely versatile artist I’ve seen in a while.
This album was absolutely heartbreaking. We have all lost, even if we haven’t lost family or friends everyone loses something. This is so raw, it’s not BTTIGTP but it feel more like letting go. It’s sad but sweet.
I wish we didn’t have to wait so long, it was fun it was cool but it was not 8 years good.
Personal favorite A$AP album. Maybe it’s the nostalgia of growing up listening to all the hits the album had. This was one of my introductions into rap and it couldnt have been better.
I’ve been listening to IDK for a while and I’ve always seen him as that guy whos pretty good. This is a great project. It’s great to see him on this slow incline to finding himself and his sound and true talent.
I really enjoyed this listen. It’s a fun mixtape with great production, rapping, and especially the transitions.
I can’t believe that I was alive to see the day that another album would shape the way music is made and listened to. These boys redefined what a song is. This album is absolutely heartbreaking and revolutionary. RIP Groggs
The true queen of hiphop, she hit so many lanes on this album. I can’t say enough about it. We miss you everyday Lauryn. PLEASE MAKE ANOTHER ALBUM
