Weird, new place for AM. Psychedelic, futuristic and enjoyable, I can see why someone won't enjoy this, but I like it very much.
AM's most intricate album, with some absolutely excellent tracks that almost border on prog. The closer particular stands out.
A mixed bag. Some great tracks such as Piledriver Waltz sit besides stinkers such as Brick by Brick. If you like AM you should give it a listen, but otherwise, you can avoid.
Bangers on top of bangers, not quite as original or high octane as Whatever People Say I Am, but great fun nonetheless.
Too long and very much front loaded, but good enough to justify at least a couple of listens.
Come the fuck on, how could you not love this? Super interesting interpretation of the story done beautifully.
Very good record. Sure, it's too long, but the theatrics of it all make it more than worthwhile. Do It With a Rockstar is one of my faves.
I love albums that don't sound like anything else, but still manage to be catchy and well written. This, no doubt, is one classic example. The title track is especially memorable.
