It's better than SAI but not that great of an album. Overcompensate sets the expectations high for this album that expectations are not fulfilled. Some songs are good but overall average album. Opening of this album is great Mid is good End is Ok. Trench is just too Superior Album can't compare it with other albums.

Amazing instrumental sound and the writing just made this album perfect.
My most favorite metal album from Metallica.

Many Favourites from this album. Some songs are skippable but other than that nothing is bad.
I just loved this project more than other projects by them.
