Nice, good for easy listening but nothing that is necessarily astounding. Sonically really sweet though
The switch half•alive made after ‘Now, Not Yet’ is so disappointing to see as a fan, that album had nods to jazz, pop, hip hop, synth, dance, funk and so much more. Their newest records both opt to ditch all that in favor of pure pop bliss that just ends up feeling generic and overdone. I could not see myself listening to these tracks at any time other than during a car commercial.
Vivid and creative soundscapes from front to back. Production is immaculate, vocals are filled to the brim with emotion, and the instrumentation is next level as well. Great listen.
Overproduced pop punk, feels vaguely Christian but I have no evidence. Feels like it’s made by AI.
Certainly not his best or most inspired work, but still true to his sound, style and writing, ‘George Harrison’ delivers a good batch of tunes. There is a very happy and shiny message to most of the songs, very much a feel good record.
