Zero acts as a sort of transition or interlude into the next chapter of Teminite's music, and that sort of shows with the way the song begins. It starts out sounding almost like a pirate-themed tune from Raise the Black Flag. It's an extremely cool touch that I think rounds out this track as being one to bridge this sort of gap. For better and/or for worse, this is what the song is.

I will never be able to fully put into words how much I love this song.

The entire thing feels absolutely ethereal. The lyrics are honestly, really good at being impactful and being entwined with the song itself. The structure of this is something I've grown to appreciate the more I listen to it. The way the song starts with one repeated note that persists throughout, as if anchoring the entire song together.
