I want to start of by saying I really do not care for any Peggy vs Earl beef since I think they both have many borderline perfect albums worth discussing without putting down the other artist.

this project is extremely hit or miss for me.
usually almost every song on a peggy album sounds amazing to me but in this case there are often flashes of brilliance followed by complete duds on the tracklist. also many more plain boring or meh songs by his standards.

First single was just okay for me but this is great. I have to admit I'm not a fan of his slower stuff usually like dark times and other newer projects but Big Fish Theory is still one of my favorite albums ever. Excited for the project.
This is my first Kenny Mason project and I am SO impressed. I've only heard his Denzel and JID features and the DRACULA single so far and I did not know he had this in him.
His vocal performances on this album show incredible range and so do his instrumental choices. He is not just multifaceted genre wise he actually nails the genre he is going for each time. JID absolutely killed that beat on TEST ME but Kenny was not THAT far off rapping wise and he snapped on the chorus.

Kanye West dropping a better album than Yeat in the big 2026 was NOT on my bingo card.
