I'm being generous.
The lyrics to some songs have some deep meaning and it does have a lot of emotional power, however, it falls a bit flat for me. Some of the lyrics got me giggling at how cringy it sounds, and some songs just make me want to drive 200 into a tree just to make it stop.

I first discovered this band when they opened for Sleep Token at the Moda Center back in October. Now, Sleep Token, as usual, had about 5 bangers, and the rest were a big snoozefest, but Thornhill had the energy!
This album is pretty good, its in that middle range for me, it's got memorable tracks like Only Ever You, TONGUES, and nerv, and the rest are good, but not outstanding.
