I think this is the best Pink Floyd and it feels like the most complete, well written and produced iteration of their sound, even more so than wish you were here
Wow, this is great. The instrumentals are so funky, especially the basslines which are so addicting. Wasn’t expecting to love this album like I do especially given that I don’t understand half of what he is singing, but that doesn’t subtract anything whatsoever from my enjoyment of this album
Dangerously close to being my favorite album, the production is incredibly balanced being being subtle and stripped down whilst also beautifully layered and has just the perfect little moments that get you addicted to songs. The writing is again a balance of being profound and meaningful whilst remaining relatable and engaging. I really don’t have enough good things to say about this album, especially the deluxe version
