Easily the best mainstream album of the year. Billie finally unchains her creativity. The songwriting and the production are both fantastic. This album single-handedly restored my faith in modern music. BLUE, specifically, is perhaps the greatest song released in the past century.
In a musical era defined by anger and discord, Adam Melchor’s work stands out as unabashedly gentle and fragile.
It’s quite generic. Lyrics are a marked step down from her previous work. Music is decently written and mixed, but fails to distinguish it.
