Can't say anything that hasn't been said, amazing album on every front, best production Kendrick's had.
After multiple listens, I haven't found a lot to love in this album. Songs feel repetitive without any apparent album-wide story, something that almost every full Kendrick album has had previously. The Mustard beats feel boring to me. While some songs are good as standalones, the rest isn't very enjoyable for me. I hope we can see something more interesting in albums to come. A well made and produced album that talks about some of Tyler's more personal things. While I don't see it as an exceptionally stand-out album or anything, I don't have a lot of negatives on it.
Overall a very fun listen. Very distinct style that fits Tyler really well. Rapping, production, drums, melodies, all great.
Pretty hit or miss for me, despite being a consistent album. Never been a huge Travis Scott fan, but I enjoyed some songs in this album. I ended up enjoying the sections where he changed up productions styles most.
