this is the type of stuff that gets me believing in god.
pharoah sanders delivers once again, crafting gorgeous soundscapes with his signature use of bells, chimes, and shakers to create an all-encompassing atmosphere. his gorgeous playing is complimented perfectly by the absolutely amazing piano playing of bonner and the relatively simple but brilliant bass of calvin hill. the album is mixed very well for a live album, each instrument is clear and beautiful when it needs to be. overall just amazing spiritual jazz. this is genuinely life-changing stuff right here. incredible in every way.
