this is definitely my least favourite of sam's projects. i miss the grittiness of his previous albums and the working-class anger within them. but you can't write about a life you don't live anymore i suppose, and it's good to at least see that sam acknowledges he's in a more privileged position now. tv dinner is by far my favourite and is a little glimmer of what i loved so much about his previous records.
just as good as the last from sam. he speaks to my angry working-class self more than i can say.
i truly believe this is one of the greatest indie records of all time. the only track thats meh is 'two people' but the rest are sooooo good
