This was far from my first listen to this album but the first time i am rating it! The album is so cohesive but varied, each song is so impressively written, and the lyrics I would say is what makes this album so unique and thoughtful. Id have to say by far the best Adrianne Lenker/ Big Thief work. (and ingydar is the best song on the album)
I would say this album is a mixed bag (clairo reference) with some songs really standing out, such as Bags, Sofia, and Feel Something, and some fade into the background and didnt leave much of an effect. On the whole a good, solid album, but the autotune I dont think was tasteful and unfortunately ruins some of the songs
Rarely an album packed with so many iconic songs and with such impressive songwriting, but what else can you expect from George Harrison (the best beatle). Although such a long album, it does not feel boring or excessive and while in similar style, and it would be wrong to call any song here uninspired or repetitive. All things must pass, My Sweet Lord and Isnt it a pity are defo the highlights, and even songs that arent as strong hold their own. (but this is just my opinion). Apple Jam section ... read more
From the start the album goes off with a BANG, and although I think there are a couple weaker songs, the good songs are GOOD and on the whole the album is just so unique and innovative, especially placed into context. Somehow this was my first full listen through!
