Kanye wests debut album brought an absolute masterpiece to the rap industry. While kanyes other albums, such as graduation and the 808s and the heartbreak, get all the attention, this underrated album captures kanyes perspective on religion, school, etc.

It had a decent start, but as more instruments were included, it became less understandable and therefore degraded the quality of the song

There are about 2 good songs in this album. Kanye makes a guest appearance however his feature is absolutely horrid as compared to his other works. Although i wish x was still alive, thus album has just a lot of goofy songs where he is just screaming or mumbling at 2 decibals. However, I found the concept of guardian angel to be really interesting to show the relation to Jocelyn flores.

This album is really really good. But, there are a few songs that bring down the album. However, at least half of the songs like lean wit me, hurt me, and all girls are the same carry this album.
