one of the best new metal i've heard lately

these guys clearly know how to make something sound interesting but their songwriting choices, especially those cheesy lyrics, really really does make this record fall quite flat for me. it's like they saw what sparta was tryna do with their straight-forward alt rock with prog-leaning tendencies, but ended up making some inferior imitation of it. Ode to the Sun is an undisputed banger tho

mostly derivative 5th gen kpop but there's some interesting ideas sprinkled here and there, the opening track which i enjoyed the most was a tad too short imo

liked starslight and ticklish a lot, yet to wake up to the rest tho

the guitars go harder than star wars that's for sure that's how you know this really was ahead of its time
