Kanye West - BULLY
78

Good album. I expected much worse after the trio of trash (d2, v1 and v2) but i was pleasantly suprised. The mixing confuses me occasionally, but it's expected.
and CIRCLES IS NOT THE WORST ON THIS ALBUM, ITS LAST BREATH, THE HOOK IS SO ANNOYING ON IT

Bruno Mars - Doo-Wops & Hooligans
90

Fantastic debut album, really had a fun time listening to it. Idc if an album is mainstream, if it's good, there's no point of looking at the streams.

Kendrick Lamar - good kid, m.A.A.d city

Couldn't explain my whole life to you by talking, while this dude did it in a rap album

J. Cole - The Fall-Off
89

His best, and likely last album. 23 amazing songs with no skips. It's hard to find a rapper still sounding like he's up-and-coming, while he's quitting. The production is done to perfection. It's really hard to choose a best song from here, but i think it's between 39 Intro, I Love Her Again and Quik Stop. The worst song though is The Let Out. The hook is hard to listen to, really. But overall, fucking amazing.

Eminem - The Marshall Mathers LP
85

Very impressive project, but still a couple of mistakes. Eminem shows some great lyricism, but some bars just feel corny, unintentionally unfunny or are just weak. Features also could've been better chosen (Bizarre and Sticky Fingaz are so bad). But on the positive side, it's a great horrorcore-esque album.

Eminem - The Eminem Show
88

Still, Eminem's best album. Very fun and replayable album, but still has the lyrical capability and serious themes occasionally. The only flaw in this amazing work are the skits, but to be fair, they're short and don't take away much of the vibe from the album.

Child Rebel Soldier - Us Placers
90

This group could've revolutionized hip-hop. But oh well. Kanye did it on his own anyway.

Kanye West - BULLY [July Sampler]
45

I'm rating both of the samplers in this review.
Dogshit. Absolute dogshit. I know that the actual album won't have AI and stuff, but the fact that this could've released officially as an album sickens me. Horrible quality, his vocals especially and the beats have potential, but it went to waste here. I hope this all changes though in the real release. Please, Ye.

Kanye West - DONDA 2 [Reissue]
50

Ye first "released" this in 2022, and it sounded like unfinished hot garbage. He "finished" it, and now it sounds like unfinished hot garbage, but chewed up and gargled, and then spit out. The only positives were True Love, Broken Road and maybe even Pablo. The rest is so boring and dogshit-sounding quality. Definitely a miss.

Kanye West - Donda
79

Great effort, but way too long. The album would've been much better without the filler-sounding tracks on it (example: Tell The Vision), but hey, it's still better than his last effort.

Kanye West - JESUS IS KING
70

I'm not a fan of christian music, and i don't like the fact that Kanye took his beliefs and put it into his discography. I'm not a hater of christianity or finding God, but i don't like this album solely because of it. Water was the worst song here, though it was hard to choose. And the best was Follow God, with the only good rapping of the entire album, just sadly, it was too short.

Kanye West - ye
85

Short, but amazing, again. Kanye keeps doing it, with the otherworldly production, the rapping, and just the vibe the album radiates. The only flaw here is the out-of-place sounding All Mine, which for a 7-track album, is a pretty big one.

82

His first album where i could find real issues. The highs were incredibly high (NMPILA, Saint Pablo), but the lows (Pt. 2 and ESPECIALLY Freestyle 4) were too grating to ignore. And other songs to me weren't too impressive either. (Real Friends, Ultralight Beam). But well, Kanye still hasn't missed.

Kanye West - Yeezus
86

Whatever sound Kanye goes for, it always feels amazing to listen to. This was something i doubted before listening, but Kanye never fails to amaze me (well, before 2019). What makes it imperfect is Guilt Trip and Send It Up, which were good, but to me weren't all that compared to the rest.

JAY-Z & Kanye West - Watch the Throne
79

Definitely a step down for both Kanye and Jay, but it's not that bad. I expected much more from both, especially Kanye after MBDTF. This just feels kinda dated. The last couple tracks and the deluxe felt more dated and boring.

Kanye West - My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy
90

Absolutely beautiful. Much more maximalist sound, but it makes it so much better. For me, it's the most replayable Kanye album, but still his first 2 are just slightly better. But this is the album i come back to the most.

Kanye West - 808s & Heartbreak
86

Never expected this type of sound from Kanye, but i love it. The emotional lyrics, beats, singing, all of it is something i wish i found earlier. Still not on the level of his first 3 because it feels too raw. The autotune became a little excessive and boring towards the end of the album.

Kanye West - Graduation
87

Solid album. I keep coming back to this because of it's great hits, and the overlooked gems. Would've been on-par with the first 2 albums if not for DAHG and Barry Bonds, which weren't even that bad.

Kanye West - The College Dropout
91

I still thank god for switching to Kanye and ditching Eminem entirely. I don't believe i used to hate on this guy, when his first album outdid everything Em put out prior combined.
