Cowboy Carter is fantastic.
Its inception was rooted in negative public opinion regarding a CMA performance for her country-inspired hit "Daddy Lessons" off Lemonade. After the criticism of her performance, she dived into her soul to develop one of the best albums I have ever listened to.

Billie unleashes a force to be reckoned with and it hits us ALL hard and soft.
She begins with SKINNY, which is one of the slowest openings I have heard in quite some time. Strangely, this song gives us a hint at the vulnerability that Billie is about to show us, but the constant struggle of perfectionism that women constantly search for. With this sad bop, we are immediately transported to another box-eating planet with LUNCH. It slaps, I don't have to say much.

It's taken me a bit to get through the Anthology and, rightfully so, with Swift adding on an intense 15 tracks after releasing 16 tracks the same night.
