after one of the messiest album rollouts in recent history, kim petras has dropped her best album to date. it isn’t the most cohesive record ever, and it is pretty front loaded, but it’s also got its bangers. songs like “pop sound” really deserved to be on this album, and some songs i wouldn’t bother going back to, but overall a surprisingly good record from ms petras. she cooked
🌟: Bruralist, Detour, Polo
a concise 9 track album that’s not as k-pop driven as you’d expect, but rather a reflection of the sounds that were popular in 2017. had fun listening to this, some misses here and there but some really good bangers to make up for it as well.
⭐️:Moonlight melody, Kingdom come
feels like a dj set that’s an ode to all things internet and pop culture. sample heavy so makes sense she had to release it unofficially under the leroy alias, it’s like revengeseekerz if she wasn’t limited by copyright strikes. never a slow moment on this thing it’s like highly caffeinated drinks to the ear. awesome awesome album
