This is their best album, but feel like y’all ain’t ready for that convo

This would have been significantly better if it was shorter.

On this record, Kanye essentially refines the sound heard on The College Dropout while maintaining that charisma and playfulness that made his debut so enjoyable.

I mean, I haven't heard Melodrama, so maybe I need more context for this release, but so far I'm not sure why this is being so disliked. It seems fine? A little derivative, but honestly an enjoyable album.

Not a huge fan of some of the vocal mixes but other than that I think this features some of Coldplay’s best songwriting and production. Solid.

Do you understand how absolutely bizarre it is that the band that released this unlistenable mess became one of the most popular and adored bands in the world?

There's not much I can add to this that others haven't. The vocals are grating. The mixing is nonexistent. At some moments, the instrumentals are a mess. Essentially, the album sounds terrible. Genuinely some of the worst music that has ever touched my ears.

How the hell are you following up an album like Trench with bland tracks like this? Very disappointed. These guys have not released one memorable single from this album.

The production sucks, the chorus is obnoxious, and goddamn those pauses really hit you, don’t they. What happened guys? Can we just go back to Trench? Those were good times.

Absolutely gorgeous album. The lyrics on this album are great, though admittedly I have not delved into them that deeply; it's more the magnificent sound of this record that caught my attention. It seems to draw a lot from 80s pop, and although I'm not all too fond of 80s music in general, this album takes only the best pieces of the style and modernizes and weaves the influences in with its own sound into a modern sophisti-pop masterwork. This album has not just some of my all time favorite Beatles songs, but all time favorite songs period. But this album's hits are mixed in with some tracks that I find truly annoying. This isn't even including Wild Honey Pie, which actually doesn't bother me much. It's strange because I used to really enjoy this album; in fact, previously, it was my favorite album ever. It has its highlights for sure and has great production throughout, but aside from about half of the tracks on here, there isn’t really much that sticks or is all too memorable.
