Great album, kinda corny, good songs, but mostly gimmicky.
Top 5 (no particular order): The Contract, City Walls, Robot Voices, Tally, Center Mass
Downstairs (aka Korea) should have stayed in the past, honestly, and missed an opportunity to release something like Forest or Lovely. Lyrics: good; what people loved about Vessel. Sound: oh noo.
This album is a combination of all their previous ones. Rawfear sounds like Scaled And Icy, but in a bad way (sorry to say that to an album I hold so ... read more
Why Marina whyasiidjnasoid
Cool chorus. Other than the chorus, the lyrics are mostly very corny and sound like 4th-grade me wrote them. The chord progression is extremely weird and aimless. I can see her trying to combine ADIAML with some of her older works, but it doesn't stick the landing.
Can't even compare it lol, sounds like a Marina parody
similar to one of the more personal tracks on Montero, but with DNB?!? smash dat boy
damn, this can't compare with the other, some rather-cringy and too-specific tracks on the soundtrack.
Some reviews here prove how plain and vanilla-y some people's music tastes get. EUSEXUA is absolutely an album that will be understood over time. I believe it is a true masterpiece, and I have never seen anything like it before. It creates its own aesthetic, like Motomami, and is also experimental. But at the same time, lyrics and theme-wise, it is so straight to the point, unbelievably direct, and says things better than I could've. Wait till you hear the other songs!
Paint the town blue is such an unattractive phrase i can only think of Doja cat's song. All lyrics are thrown out with no second thought, flow, or nothing. There is nothing to keep you hooked, the chorus is deadly boring, what happened?
This continues his streak of making albums that are great Live, but don't stand up at home streaming or spinning a record
Great to finally see a proper xo x opium collab, but I do feel Abel steps a bit too far out of his comfort zone
nice one, not an everyday listen though, unless you'll be listening to the whole album every day lol
I liked the *pew pew* thing
damn!
It has some pretty damn good songs, some ones were unnecessary or felt forced, but overall a good album.
favs: sympathy is a knife w Ariana Grande, b2b w Tinashe & guess w Billie Eilish!
