I feel like a stripped-down version of this album would be a lot better. If Rod had relied more on the acoustic side instead of the electronic stuff, the album would be much more enjoyable.

O começo do álbum machuca bastante a obra completa, mas é inquestionável que Gloria tem um talento único. Espero que ela saia da armadilha que esse tipo de música impõe porque tem potencial demais aqui.

Some futile lyrics with the addition of decent enough arrangements. I would have liked it if I was 14. Since I'm not, I'll probably forget about this album by next week.

I am still trying to understand the hate here. As far as I know, Bon Jovi is the first major artist/band to touch on subjects such as George Floyd and the riots the took place in America this year in an album. It goes from political to gospel, and touches every possible corner. Although some of the lyrics sound really cringe, the overall setting is decent, with Jon sounding good as always. Maybe some people are still stuck in the 80s.
