OK Computer is a mental trial. It's an exhausting listen based on the lyrics alone. Some soundscapes sound cold and hopeless, while others sound optimistic, bright sometimes. It's an album where you can explore it and find that you can explore it even further.

Yes, this album is a critical darling. It's recognized as one of the greatest albums of all time, but I think it does deserve that title. A lot of what is offered here is of high quality. I'm just throwing words that make sense together, but it's such a good album.

My only complaint is that it does feel long winded. Thats not to say anything on this album feels unnecessary to any degree because I don't think that's true, but it is pretty long. Outside of that, every song on here strings together this surreal landscape. Its surreal in that it feels like the experiences that go through the protagonist at the end of "The Tourist" doesn't really teach them about the trajectory they are heading in or what to do to influence change in areas they see fit. They are just overwhelmed. This album, and Radiohead, are very depressed, but it is something I feel can be relatable to a lot of people. The liner notes on this album provides a message that says "We hope you are ok. Thank you for listening."

The ambition and dedication that went into this album is profoundly seen through its lyrics, the musicianship, Stanley Donwood's art, and all aspects of this album. It truly is something to behold. Please, if you haven't, give this a listen. It is worthy of your time.
