Awesome vocals

This band keeps releasing really good songs and one of my favorite parts about them is the atmospheric production they have. This type of production is definitely my favorite because I like Ambient and I like Heavy/Energic music, the only thing that I like more is when all of these elements are perfectly blended and balanced together, which only empowers the whole thing

This is the next level of overrated. There is something about it that feels weird, clumsy and badly produced. The vocals aren't good either. Never was a biggest Periphery fan, enjoyed some of their songs but I was always struggling to return to any of their material. Still not a biggest fan

I know that nerds are gonna hate this song, but if you like vibes, you will 100% love it. This song is very simple but it's very well done which is basically all you need sometimes

Finally a band with djent elements that experiments with some lofi soundscape, besides Oceans Ate Alaska

Certainly sounds like modern Thornhill in specific parts, but in a decent way. Chorus and melody are really interesting, almost reminiscent of Australian band Bloom. The song is very replayable overall and gets better over time, which is a wonderful thing

Hot take, thall doesn't sound good by default and it's very difficult to make something good with it. Some bands are able to make a proper thall-oriented songwriting, but this band is on another level. Very good atmospheric album, this is my favorite type of production, it's reminiscent of The Dark Pool by Thornhill and the whole album feels very inspired by Deftones overall, also reminds me of The Butterfly Effect. The only problem I have with this album is that it feels repetitive

My least favorite part about this song is actually melody, too simple for my taste, the coolest part is a second half and chorus. Feels very much like Linkin Park which is cool, but in my opinion it makes the song seem more generic and radio friendly and I've outgrown this specific style, it would've been better if they used synths similar to stuff by Porter Robinson unless it was intentionally a Linkin Park reference. Really great album from an underrated band. Feels like a proper slight mix of emo and progressive metalcore. For fans of bands like Livealie, Hollow Front

I think thall is ruining this band for me, too much heavy for the sake of heavy in parts that don't really work well with it

This album is a perfect example of why Thall is really hard to master and make listenable and meaningful unlike djent, because thall is ruining identity of this band. Karmanjakah are easily the best thall band right now, they're bringing more melody into it which may actually fix it, the riffs are incredible. I appreciate how experimental and individual it feels despite being thall which is difficult to make meaningful and listenable in terms of songwriting, but I'm slightly disappointed that this album has too many interludes on release, I'm sure that if they gave it more time, they would end up with some amazing songs, even though interludes ... read more

When you wanna dance but you still need some breakdowns

I like how an unprepared listener may not understand this song on a first listen and think it's just random noise, but it makes more sense the more you're going back to it and eventually becomes hypnotic. This requires a very deep level of balance between songwriting and mix and it's one of my favorite things about heavy music, also it has a very subconscious summery vibe which is difficult to apply to a very heavy song

Karmanjakah are really good at doing melodic Thall riffs and there are so many bands trying to do this purposelessly for the sake of nothing and without proper understanding of balance

But this... This feels musically meaningful, individual and perfectly balanced

While I'm getting tired of thall, I think this band is good at combining modern metalcore with thall elements, and surprisingly they're doing it slightly different compared to many thall-influenced metalcore bands
