Conductor Williams could totally up his game if he could land some better features. I know plenty of people who could’ve killed those beats.

Some pretty moments. Mostly bored when there wasn’t any improvisation.

HOLY MOLY Louis Cole is actually a fantastic orchestral arranger. The MO went off with some of these performances. The really full, rich, ornate moments are separated by his classic funky sound. The singing is also probably some of his best (as well as Genevieve of course). This is my favorite project of his to date.

solid as usual from Ghost Note but it definitely doesn’t take as many risks as an album like Swagism. It’s long and can get repetitive, but everything is super tight and groovy.

I hate to be too harsh on this album because i really do like the concept and i think the duo shows some promise. Unfortunately, it just comes across as overproduced clown core but with worse drumming.

I was worried about the feature list, but it serves the album really well. I was folding laundry while listening to this and I still felt hard as a mf. I love the south.

Just an amazing bossa nova album.
