Its the stereotypical Wet Leg album really. Has somewhat potential due to having decent instrumentals, however it's ruined by unfunny lyrics and her vocals are horrible at numerous times throughout the album.
In the opening song they declare they want to be trash, well they have achieved their goal of creating a trash dance pop album.
Only a couple of good songs in this album with, muzzle being one of them then "trash" being the other. Most of the songs are just generic with a decent riff and basic lyrics, however these are dragged out for 5/6 minutes with little to no change in the instrumental or the lyrics making it repetitive and boring . Very cool band and cool collection of 2020s indie rock songs.
"The Alchemist's Euphoria" is the very definition of a mixed bag. Some great songs, some good, some utter pish but in the end most are just mediocre. 6/10
Extremely overrated. Its a decent song but it is no where near the "greatest riff of all time" like some claim it to be.
In 1995 Radiohead shattered all expectations set out for them and certainly hinted at what was to come in the future. "The Bends" is a genius title as he is used this as a metaphor to describe his feelings being so low that he has the bends. Finally in this album many of the songs are perfect and is in modern day somewhat underrated due to their future successes.
The bands first full length effort was nothing to scream serious praise about however it is far too over hated by some members of the online community including on this website. Many songs such as "anyone can play guitar" and of course the bands breakout single "creep" are fantastic songs that contribute to the overall albums appeal.
