i have no words for how amazing this album is. like, genuinely, i cannot write a review that would even begin to encapsulate the masterpiece this album is.

beabadoobee - Lice

it’s… alright. not bad, not good. the songs are cute but nothing of note. i love “angry song” tho, one of my favorite beabadoobee songs, which is the only reason why this ep is getting a higher score from me

Beach Bunny - Blame Game
85

the songs are so catchy, especially Good Girls (Don’t Get Used)

Beach Bunny - Honeymoon

i understand how people can think this is a “basic” indie-bedroom-pop type album, but i honestly think they have a very unique sound. the lead singer has a really pretty voice and i think thats why this band really stood out to me. this album gives me a sense of comfort and i really have enjoyed coming back and listening to it over the years

KATSEYE - Gnarly

at first, this was a VERY difficult listen, but eventually it really grew on me and now its one of my favorite songs to come out this year. its one of those songs where you dont understand the hype until you listen to it a few times. the choreography is insane as well

KATSEYE - Gnarly (Ice Spice Remix)

ice spice ruined the song

KATSEYE - BEAUTIFUL CHAOS
95

i really love katseye but mean girls was very generic. their personality and stage presence are amazing but i can see why the songs on their own wouldn’t be enough to have them rise to fame.

despite the criticisms that people may have album this album, i still really enjoyed it. gabriela, m.i.a., and gnarly were fantastic

Rhea Raj - MUMBAI

the vocals and production on this song are absolutely insane. i love the layering so much and rhea made sure that there was not a moment that this song felt empty

Ayesha Erotica - precum

very different from what i usually listen to, but… wow. this is so lit. i really love the production on this album and im absolutely in LOVE with this new sound. the album radiates confidence with herself, as well as that prevalent twinge of whore we always see in ayesha’s albums. i did feel that there was a slight decrease in quality between the beginning and end of the album, but overall, this was such a fun listen. WHORE IDOL and GIDDY UP have been on repeat. this shi fire fr

Jane Remover - Census Designated

this album is genuinely really good! i love the song “fling” a lot because it leans into shoegaze (peak genre btw). hopefully we see more of this in the future!

Avenade - Leave It To Me
92

peak as always

Avenade - In Your Dreams

i love this song so much like genuinely its been my life since it came out. i love blasting it in the car. this song is actually peak

Laufey - A Matter of Time

pretty decent album, i enjoyed listening to it a lot! an issue i had is that a lot of the songs sound very similar to each other. theyre not necessarily bad, but there is a small lack of diversity between each track, as she typically uses the same instruments. despite this, i had this album on repeat the day it came out, and is definitely such a good album to have when you need to relax or have in the background while studying!
