ACCIDENTALLY REACHED A FLOW STATE WHILE LISTENING TO THIS... gorgeous cover too
Let me start this off by saying this was originally going to be a pretty negative review. The first time I listened through the first half of this album I did not like it at all. I love the cover of this album so much. The way he's just standing there in his little goofy 2000's outfit with a symmetrical background is just so hilarious yet says so much. If you look closer you'll see the trees aren't even symmetrical. You'll see more the more you look into the cover. I know I sound like the "I never knew she was holding a plate of corn in this scene" girl rn but I just love this cover, it's very unique and his outfit just screams ... read more

"“when she gets personal on this album it's even more hard hitting and deep when she says it casually than if she were to cram a bunch of unnecessarily cryptic words and phrases in a desperate attempt to sound overly intellectual when her whole m.o is about letting go of expectation and living in the moment“ I love this line, it’s so true. I feel like a lot of artists recently (especially a certain tall blonde one) have become so pretentious with their writing to make themselves seem super deep, serious, and intellectual when in reality it just looks like they plucked a bunch of random words out of a dictionary and hoped they’d make sense."
