For Tomorrow is lead single from Blur's sophomore album "Modern Life is Rubbish". FT was released on 19 April 1993, and reached #28 in the UK singles charts. It was written by a depressed and drunk Damon Albarn in his parents' home in Colchester on Christmas Eve. The start of the Britpop revolution, and a great, fast-paced song to boot. Popscene, as the title suggests, is about flaws within the music industry. I feel like this song should have been included on Modern Life is Rubbish. Due to its poor chart placement, Popscene did not feature on MLIR, with Graham Coxon saying something along the lines of "if they didn't want it then, they're not fucking having it now" (possibly not the exact quote).
