Superfly

Great soundtrack, great opener with, a very groovy, smooth opener "Little Child Runnin' Wild" (cool use of saxophone). It's remarkable Super Fly is one of the most popular classics of the blaxploitation film genre. And in addition Curtis Mayfield positios one can pick up from the lyrics was way more critical than the film's view on drug dealers. The album with its concept and songs stands for itself and doesn't really need a film to merit appreciation as a single muiscal artwork. Each of the eight songs and the single instrumential (Think) is really good therefore I refrain from listing some hints or favourites.
