That shall be classified just simply as acid jazz? That doesn't feel complete: the second studio album by Red Snapper is a successfull assamblage of jazz, dub, drum 'n' bass, trip hop, soul, hip hop, funk, breakbeat ... a stunning combination of electronic and acoustic instruments (double bass, trumpet...), partly adorned by vocals and rap, resulting in an astonishing organic sound under the usage of multiple various rhythms without lacking a musical coherence. Great job, great music, great album, great band and rather unique.
