For me, The Seer felt like an exponential curve. In contrast, being kind felt more like a sinusoidal wave, with its ups and downs. While listening to The Seer, I was shitting my pants. Don’t get me wrong, the album is flawless. The highs on this album definitely outweigh the lows, but there were still moments where the music felt predictable. Only a few bands can pull off two-hour albums with tracks exceeding 20 minutes and keep you fully engaged throughout the entire listening experience, and Swans is clearly one of them. This is my first time listening to this trilogy, and holy f*ck, I've heard things here that I’ve never heard before. It’s simply perfect.
This record may not offer anything particularly surprising or groundbreaking, but the instruments blend seamlessly to create a truly enjoyable listening experience. Esmerine definitely deserves more recognition.
More people need to listen to this. It's wonderful
This album is pretty eccentric. It has its ups and downs, but I really dug the new sounds it brings.
Hail to Thom (¬_¬). This is yet another masterpiece, further cementing Radiohead’s exceptional discography.
Very pleasant, chill, and smooth to listen to. It creates a calm, uplifting atmosphere and is a great way to start your day on a relaxed and positive note.
A perfect blend of post-metal and shoegaze. Incredible record, but I liked their debut a bit more.
A compilation of Jeff Buckley singing and talking with a guitar? Yes, please. The more of him, the better
Shout-out to Suede for more than three decades of consistency in creating great music. This album continues that tradition and delivers once again.
I'm not a fan of UK hiphop music, but god damn, where did this feral cat come from?!
Daniel Lopatin really nailed it with this one. The electronic vibes make you feel like you're floating while just chilling.
This is my first album from Lamp, and it's just beautiful. Super chill jazz-pop vibes. The instruments sound amazing, and their vocals are so soothing. I don’t really speak much Japanese, but their voices are seriously heartwarming.
