I don't wanna share this space
I don't wanna force a smile
This one girl taps my insecurities
Don't know if it's real or if I'm spiraling
One voice tells me that they laugh
George says, "I'm just paranoid"
Says he just don't see it, he's so naive
I'm embarrassed to have it, but need the sympathy
'Cause I couldn't even be her if I tried
I'm opposite, I'm on the other side
I feel all these feelings I can't control

reminds me of the music from silent hill 3 + 4. troll is one of the most unnerving songs I’ve heard in a while
An aesthetic that doesn’t match the production and juvenile lyricism. I’m actually in awe at how lackluster this album is. If you told me this was a max martin production I would’ve laughed right in your damn face.
I think the most offensive part of this whole thing is how Taylor has absolutely nothing to say anymore. Whether this is from lack of muse or her desire to be billboard #1 every year is yet to be determined, but I haven’t heard an album so devoid of life ... read more
Nice album, but there’s a lot of repetitive sounding songs. First half stronger than the second. Very fun though, a nice callback to early edm music.
favs: position famous, electric, bound2u, radio, ralph lauren
I have no idea how I managed to listen to this all the way through. wanted to like it so badly, but there’s just…no substance.
Album so beautiful it made Blake Shelton palatable. Second half of the album hits a production sweet spot that makes up for track 3-5.
sonically, the only two songs that standout are fell out of heaven and I want the light to swallow me whole. a little too SoundCloud-y for my tastes. I plan on listening to her other projects, so time will tell if my opinion changes.
solid debut that’s easy listening. Music I put on in the background for when I’m cleaning, working , etc. I suppose that can be considered a drag, but I did enjoy the album for the most part—even the interludes (?) that take up time which could have gone to other songs. I am not an artist, so I truly have no comprehension into the song creation process, but albums having 10+ songs and STILL being thirty minutes or less is pure insanity.
I wholeheartedly agree with the ... read more
A mess.
I went in to this with no expectations as I don’t find any of her music particularly interesting, and found myself mad the instrumentation gets lost in repetitive lyricism and weird tracklisting. The obsessed cover is smashed between songs it sounds nothing like which I guess provides relief from the ‘same song’ curse that haunts the entire project. The break is both good and bad: good in it provides a break from the first half of the album, bad in it forces to you ... read more
