A pretty great dnb track, in line with a lot of what we heard on the first album. But the structure and progression is improved upon with well placed switch ups
Another amazing release from highsenberg. Two 16 minute tracks and somehow they manage to keep you engaged for the most part. The only thing holding back this tape imo is the occasional directionless-ness of track 1 (it's still great overall but not as good as track 2) but other than that, it's a great release.
This is a really interesting project, sonically. All three tracks span across 10 minutes and lay out these beautiful, experimental and unique soundscapes that are hard to describe with words. The use of samples also add to the immersion. It's very captivating.
My only gripe with the project is that sometimes it feels like the project is wondering without any direction and is ambitious just for the sake of being ambitious. Which sometimes can get in it's way. However, those moments ... read more
A really great tape, has a very ominous, dark, and moody atmosphere that's charming. The highlight is easily the amazing production and the vocals just set the vibes in stone.
Typa music you play when you're in some underground ahh club in the year 2067 and violently making out with a bunch of cyborgs. Also this album cover is like, top 10 oat.
Favourite: neckbender, stars, pt. 1, water, fireflies.
Least favourite: try to find me.
