Kenny Mason continues to show promise, with an extremely solid album here. I really hope he leans more into the lyric focused tracks more in the future, like 7ELEVEN. He has a great pen, and I’m impressed with this one.
Genesis Owusu is solidifying himself as one of the most consistent artists in the game.
It’s not bad in the sense of being bad, it’s just extremely boring. This sucks considering I’ve been a fan of 6lack for quite sometime now, but between this and his previous album, it seems like he’s plateaued in quality. I’m still holding out hope but man this was a chore to get through.
Unfortunately a step down from his previous projects. I’m a big Isaiah Rashad fan so i expected so much from this album, and while it wasn’t bad, it felt like something was missing.
Definitely not his best project, but I still enjoyed it a good amount regardless.
