Well this is the first collab tape between Moneybagg Yo and Blac Youngsta.(I think)But a collab tape is almost a loose term. Out of the 13 tracks here, only 5 tracks are between the two only. One song with the two have a feature(Which is Yo Gotti) Out of the 13 songs 7 are solo tracks of either Moneybagg or Blac Youngsta. And only 2 of these 7 tracks have no features. Personally this is more of a bunch of throw away songs that they decided they should throw together and slap features on. It’s a decent tape but it’s far from Much of a collab tape.
1. Birthplace-7/10-This a decent start to this little collab tape. Moneybagg comes in with some nice flow and has a nice little melody in the chorus. Youngsta puts in a okay verses. Production is pretty nice here.
2. Super hot-6/10-Honestly blac Youngsta sounds pretty odd on the chorus. It’s almost annoying. His verse is okay, definitely better than his chorus. Moneybagg puts in a decent verse. Production is fine
3. Said sum-8/10-This is one of the first of the multiple solo tracks here. And out of all of them(excluding the remix)this is probably the best one. His chorus is pretty nice like his verses. But one the verses is a little long. Just a bit too long. But his flow carries so it’s okay. Also the fisher price bar is kinda funny lol.
4. Truth be told-6/10-Another solo track here.Honestly this song has really good verses but a weak chorus. The storytelling here(which blac attempts somewhat) is decent but the song overall is a little weak.
5. New chain(Feat. Yo Gotti)-8/10-This track here has plenty of energy and is pretty fire. Moneybagg, Blac, and Yo Gotti all have good verses. Oddly Yo Gotti sounds somewhat like Blac, so it’s hard to know when Blac ends and when Yo Gotti starts. Also this song sounds like a Gunna song. Like I swear this is interpolation of a gunna song. But compared to a gunna song this has way more energy lol.
6. Trick ass N***a-6/10-Production here is pretty nice and Moneybagg comes in with another good verse but Blac doesn’t do anything note worthy here.
7. Brain dead(Feat. Ari)-7/10-Another solo Track. Here Moneybagg Yo raps about a woman he misses. I have somewhat of a feeling that he could be talking about Megan thee stallion, but I could be 100% wrong, and I probably am. Why I think that is because they did dated briefly in 2019 with a break up also in either 2019/2020. The interlude is by ari along with the female singing.
8. Gun smoke(Feat. 42 Dugg)-6/10-Another solo track with only Blac Youngsta. He comes in with plenty of energy here. Probably one of the most energetic track. Chorus is a little lame but Blac has a really strong verse. Personally I don’t care for 42 Dugg here. He does fine but I really don’t like his voice so it’s whatever. Production is really energetic here.
9. Blind-9/10-This is definitely my favorite track here. It’s melodic in a way. Moneybagg puts in his best chorus and his best verses on this track. He raps about all of the pain he has gone through with his homies here. It’s somewhat of a darker track. Blac puts in a good verse. Even if it goes against what Moneybagg says, it’s still strong. Production is one of my favorite.
10. Demons-7/10-This song somewhat of a continuation of the previous track. Moneybagg has a decent chorus here. Blac puts in another good verse here. Production is okay here.
11. Said sum[Remix](Feat. City girls and Dababy)-8/10-Both JT and young Miami put in decent verses along with Dababy. Did this song really need a remix. No. Is it good. Yes.
12. You can see(Feat. Lil Migo and Big Homiie G)-4/10-Another solo Blac song. This is definitely the weakest song here. Chorus is lame. And both of the features put in lame verses. Blac Youngsta does okay here.
13. SRT(Feat. BIG30 and Pooh shiesty)-5/10- Another solo Moneybagg track.Another weak track that could be cut(like the previous song). Everyone here doesn’t do anything noteworthy.
Favorite songs: New chain, Blind and Said Sum Remix.
Least favorite: You can see
Final score: 87/130 .67
