not a big fan of the lyrics and objectivally it's definitely not kacey's strongest, it actuallly reminds me of the deeper well album a lot... I really like the melody of the chorus though and the switch up from the verses is fun...
aged to be yet another defining album for taylor swift with a pen as sharp as ever
after the middling mr. producer, this only reassures my excitement for what might be the actual album… loving this sound and the minimalist contrast of the last two pretour songs to polo/freak it/ilyl
Ray of Light is an absolute must-listen for a fan of pop music, as it will change the way you look at the genre. This album is one of my favorite examples of what pop music can sound like and how genre-bending it can be. Drenched in hypnotic electronic and ambient soundscapes with Madonna's voice floating over each songs production. There's life before listening to Ray of Light and there's life after.
