best song on the album. When I first heard the beat drop it secured that spot for me. The "1, 2, 3, 4" part is genius bc right after the beat starts to build as if she is reminded that she has to do her job and perform despite being heartbroken bc that 1234 count is what performers hear in their ear piece. so far her best solo, and for sure one of the best solos from Blackpink. The chorus is not amazing tho but at least it is not just a lame beat drop or repetetive (la lisa love me la lisa love me hey). damn they ate this up. It doesn't even sound like kpop, and i love that, so much. It is more dark and i love how they sold it with attitude. i love how second verse and chorus were bigger than the first. That breakdown and beat change got me worried and they kinda lost me for a moment but the beat drop after made it even better. So far the weakest single, but not by far, it's still great, and it will probably grow even more. The Music Video is probably the best one so far. I mean Houdini was supposed to be much bigger but it was scrapped, so yeah. Still, i can't wait for Radical Optimism and i think it will be a strong contender for my AOTY, probably even at the Grammys as well.
Altho i love Scarlet, maybe it could've been more like some of these songs, especially Disrespectful, Urrrge!!!!!!!!!!, and Masc (especially near the end).
i defenitely don't luv that chorus, and especially the feature...
