so, yall wanted a song with vocals, well here yall go. They had a lot of great vocal moments in this song, but we now want a lyrical masterpiece... right? No?
Anyway, the production is great, the vocals are great but
my only problem is that it's just way too short...
I get that Manon is not on it but barely 2 minutes?

It's an interesting single choice since it kinda is structured like an interlude of some sort.. but it's still catchy as fuck?
It takes a bit too much time to build, which may not work as a radio single, but as i said it's also catchy so idk, this review may contain hope that it succeeds thoo !!

— from the first few seconds I had high hopes because of that space-y ass synth or bass or whatever the fuck it is. The verses were also hitting so I was hoping they won't ruin it with a lame chorus (like with Pink Venom), and the chorus actually hit so fucking good. the vocals and the melody are by far the strongest part. The production doesn't throw a big punch but more so drives very nicely due to the "galloping" which i love as well.
I'm glad the verses are not just there, they do offer something as well, but my only problem is that I think at times the song needs to breathe a bit. Second best track on the album, after the lead.
It's nothing revolutionary but it's effective. The bridge is the best part definitely, I especially love one tiny detail and that's the voice crack she says on "storm" ("A storm inside a teacup"). And the ending of the bridge is great with the vocal layering.
If I had to change anything I'd maybe add a bit more oomph, more bass maybe or something to make it pack just a bit bigger punch, or maybe more of ... read more
