I don't understand why Swans is so critically acclaimed. Like sure, there are some great moments in this album, but not enough to justify it's 2 hour run-time. And even the exciting moments on this album get dragged into the mud by being repeated for 10 minutes straight.
But there are some great songs on this album, I think Cloud of Forgetting is the best song of theirs that I've heard so far. When Will I Return? has some great singing. And Finally, Peace is a great outro. ... read more
so unbelievably fun. I've had this on constant repeat this week.
This album is such a peaceful experience.
Her singing is absolutely incredible, it accompanies the simplistic instrumentation in a really great way. Definitely gonna study to this album.

Great ambient album! Thanks @Marshall4Real for the suggestion.
I don't usually listen to ambient music, so I didn't really know what to expect. But I was pleasantly surprised! This album sounds very dreamy and beautiful. The purpose of this album is apparently to feel as if you're walking through a flowery field in a dream, and I think it captures that sensation really well.
Alvvays is now my favorite band atm
This album is absolutely incredible. Beautiful vocals, dreamy guitars and such catchy choruses all combine into a truly incredible album. It feels so close and personal, much like their other albums, but this one has more certified bops.
In Undertow is a great album opener, it encapsulates the vibe of the entire album in one song.
Dreams Tonite is one of the most addicting songs I’ve ever heard.
Your Type is such a bop.

I love the orchestral parts they remind me of my childhood for some reason
After falling in love with Blue Rev, I knew I had to check out Alvvays' other projects. And this did not disappoint.
This album feels so cozy and personal. Going into this I wasn't sure what to expect, but it ended up sounding pretty similar to how I envisioned it in my head. Every song is so amazing, and the singing is so beautiful and hypnotizing. All of the choruses' are so catchy, especially Adult Diversion, which has been stuck in my head for weeks. Overall it's a ... read more
A very well made album, but not quite for me.
This album has a cozy feeling and was very relaxing to listen to. It had great production and each song tries a different concept. That being said, I couldn’t get past the vocals, they’re not bad.. they just leave more to be desired. Though I can clearly see how people could love this, but it doesn’t do it for me.
DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT support the caging of elephants
This album was one of the very first full albums I ever listened to, and as such it holds a very special place in my heart.
This album is probably what has influenced my music taste the most throughout the years. It's such a fun and unique experience that only Cage the Elephant could really do. It's such an energetic mix of so many genres and it blends them in a way that feels unique and different from anything else the band has ... read more
Don't get me wrong, I think the original album is great. But this clears in every way.
The Extended Edition flows so well and is much more concise than the original, coming in at only around 30 minutes, but I think this works very well in it's favor. It feels like a more focused experience, and Denzel doesn't let a moment go to waste. His voice flows well with the instrumental and overall just a great listening experience.
absolutely beautiful :)
It's incredible how one album can sound so dreamy and transcendent
This is the first posthumous I've ever listened to (also my first Mac Miller project), and it really exceeded my expectations!
I don't think I've listened to an album quite like this before. The laid back vocals with the chill instrumental sounds really great and stays interesting throughout the entire album.
