Some songs don’t need to be as long as they are but otherwise a pleasant listen! Except for the hook on Love of My Life Worldwide, that started to get annoying by the end. I prefer the version with Common (which isn’t listed here but it’s easily my favourite).
What is it with this group making albums with sex tracks on them like what the fuck. Better than their previous at least.
If anything, hemlocke springs knows how to make a DAMN good outro song. be the girl! Is killer.
It's good! Not her best and can definitely feel a bit dated in spots, but I had a good time with it!
Car Seat Headrest is one of those bands I explore intermittently. Every now and again I get the urge to listen to one of the old albums or EPs and I’ve had a generally good time each time I do. I’m happy to say that How To Leave Town was also a great experience! I do think The Ending of Dramamine drags just a little bit too long, but nothing else overstays it’s welcome. Good fun!
It’s better than Smithereens but most of it just feels so underbaked. It’s like a worse Nectar is the best way I’d put it.
Honestly had a pretty good time with this one! As an album experience it was very consistent and felt like a darker, gloomier version of Buhloone Mindstate. I think it started off a little stale but once it gets going it keeps moving until the finish line. Great listen!
Extremely bloated with skits and interludes. None of which ever felt as charming as those in the debut. Though, I think this has some of my favourite stuff from them so far. “Saturdays” and “Millie Pulled a Pistol on Santa” are both incredible for completely different reasons and if anything you should listen to both of them. The rest of the tracks are mostly solid but can feel like they’re missing something. I had a good time regardless.
Kind of crazy how Talk To You is this weird and cool experimental little song that’s been stuck in my head for days while the rest is just pleasant indie folk. It’s okay. Wish it was more experimental like that song is but it’s whatever.
Y'know, as someone who's been pretty lukewarm in the past on A$AP Rocky's solo stuff, I actually really enjoyed this one! There are a couple of weird ones here and there (*eyes AIR FORCE (BLACK DEMARCO) to my left side for a second*) but nothing absolutely awful. I think my favourite was definitely PUNK ROCKY. It's been growing on me since I first heard it as a single and it's just so nice to listen to. Definitely will be coming back to this!
YOU ARE CONSUMED BY JEEEEEEEALOUSSYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
YOU ARE OBSESSED WITH THE BOOOOOG
THE BOG!

Don't think Sick Puppy had to be nearly 10 minutes long but this was fun! Almost wish that little bit at the end was a separate song from the rest.
After three listens I've decided I have basically no issues with this album.
Think at points it gets a little repetitive, but an incredible experience nonetheless.
I loved BRAT and everything, but I'm really really enjoying the atmosphere on these recent singles a lot more. Very much looking forward to the album.
actually insane surprise im so excited to see where this goes.
